ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR
Since 2016, the Georgia Forensic Coaches Association (GFCA) has recognized outstanding educational leaders through the Administrator of the Year Award. This honor is awarded to middle or high school administrators who have gone above and beyond in supporting, expanding, and advocating for speech and debate programs within their schools and across the state.
Recipients of this award have demonstrated a commitment to providing high-quality opportunities for students by fostering a culture where speech and debate thrive, advocating for curricular and co-curricular programming, and ensuring that their students and coaches receive the necessary resources and institutional support. These administrators play a vital role in integrating speech and debate into the broader school community, celebrating student achievements, and championing the value of communication and critical thinking.
Through this award, the GFCA acknowledges the invaluable contributions of school leaders who are instrumental in the continued growth and success of speech and debate in Georgia.
